There is an uncommon problem while connecting external displays to a newer Mac. Your Mac is using RGB Mode instead of YCbCr. We have the solution for every Monitor and a fast download if you have a Dell U2713H or Dell U2713HM for you.

We found a Ruby Script which is called the universal fix.
If you like to read, read this (Go to the embdev Forums or Github) or download the ruby script from us. (Download the patch from us) and put it in your user directory.
Go to Terminal:
Reverse
To reverse the process simply delete the folder again.
Go to you Finder -> Go -> Go to Folder
delete DisplayVendor....

Solution for Dell U2713H / Dell U2713HM

Go to you Finder -> Go -> Go to Folder/System/Library/Displays/Overrides
Unzip the files here.
Go to System Preferences -> Displays -> Colors -> Dell U2713H EDID Override.
Now restart your mac.Solution for all other Displays

./patch-edid.rb

/Users/YOUR-NAMEThere is a new Folder called DisplayVendor... copy it
Go to you Finder -> Go -> Go to Folder
/System/Library/Displays/Overrides
Paste the Folder.
Go to System Preferences -> Displays -> Colors -> ...... EDID Override.
Now restart your mac.Reverse
